Welcome to HELP International in Pattaya
I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the desirable and precious things of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory and splendor, says the Lord of hosts.
What a powerful promise: The longing of the peoples on earth will be fulfilled! We believe that God will reveal His glory in the world's biggest redlight district in Pattaya in a new dimension. What will it look like when oppression and injustice will be shaken, when darknes gets confronted with God's light? Presently, when you walk the streets of this district, you can see the longing of the people for embrace, freedom and healing. Jesus is the way to the Father, and He can give what peoples are longing for!
Our team is preparing to go to the streets and to make Jesus known, to take in drug-addicted women into our community so they will be set free and start with Jesus all over again in life. Parallel we are want to gather Christians and train them to become effective followers of Jesus. The gospel is God's ultimate power for salvation, thus we preach it - first of all in Pattaya, but also throughout Thailand and its neigbouring countries.
Pattaya - we will go
At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”
Vision
We are aiming for transformation of the world’s biggest redlight district. Our mission combines three elements: The City Mission called „Worship & Mission“, the international missions training, and we are dreaming of mercy ministries among women in the redlight. As mentioned in Hebrews 12:26, we are also longing for this city and its people to be shaken by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Current development
Over the past months, we have adjusted our strategy to make it happen. Right know our Pattaya team consists of four people, who are preparing to go, to live and to minister in Pattaya. Simon and Karin Schöttlers have already lived in Thailand and gained experience. Our current steps are getting well prepared to meet the requirements of serving in Thailand. This includes gaining knowledge in administrations, intercultural competences, setting up a framework for sending students and staff to other nations as well as team building.
New Beginning
When we had HELP's missions conference in Pattaya in 2022, we were able to make further preparations for the start of the ministry in Thailand. As team we went to Pattaya's city hall to pray for the government and to bless the district. Furthermore, we started to build relationships to ministries and language schools in town and received councel of an attorney regarding the application for a HELP International Foundation. As team we are meeting regularly for prayer in order to spiritually model and prepare for this new chapter.
Coming Close
In the near future, we will need a place to host our team and the vision. We favor a building, which has the capacity and is available, too. The mainhouse shall host a team, while the extension is close to perfect to accommodate students of the REVIVAL SCHOOL or outreach teams! The house shall become the headquarter for outreaches to Pattaya, however, it is also meant for equipping and training as it will be the launching pad for students to go to other nations.

Simon Schöttler
Simon grew up within the HELP/FCJG community in Luedenscheid/Germany and studied Social Works and Social Management. After finishing the Revival School on the Move he came straight from Texas to Bangkok in October 2017 to join the previous team in Thailand. The nations were moving him for a longer time: Short-term outreaches to other nations and cultures, even when eleven years young and also with teenager-teams, stirred up a hunger to take the gospel to nations. Today Simon has already spent four years of missions in Thailand. Currently he is part of our HELP administration in Luedenscheid and leads the new Thailand team. Since end of 2020 he and Karin are happily married and have one child.
Karin Schöttler
Originally Karin comes from Southern Germany, but since 2008 she is part of our FCJG-community in Luedenscheid. She joined the staff-team of the Wiedenhof drug rehabilitation and later worked as a professional educator for traumatised children nearby Luedenscheid. For several years she was part of the band ‘Petra Feddersen and Friends’ where she played the keyboard. After eleven years Karin was drawn to the nations. She is part of the team in Pattaya and her desire for new missions-students sounds like this: „To invest into young people, to assist them to hear and receive their very own calling from God for their lives and to release them into it - that is my passion!“
Elisabeth Hartel
My heart beats for Jesus and the nations. Already as a young adult I lived abroad for a few years and went on short-term outreaches to different nations. I experienced God's love and power and how He repeatedly changed my heart for these nations and people. During my masters studies I was part of FCJG/HELP Vienna and God spoke again about missions and specifically about Thailand. After a time as a staff member of the REVIVAL SCHOOL in Lüdenscheid I am now part of the HELP pioneer team in Pattaya and I am excited to see what God has prepared in Thailand.
Salome Wüthrich
Salome is Swiss but grew up as a missionary kid in Mongolia . When she returned home in 2012 to graduate school she decided to give her whole life to Jesus. Her next step was joining the Revival School, where God called her to Thailand.As a Social Worker it’s her joy to now bring the true answer for their needs: Jesus! He alone gives hope, future and life. People shall be healed and changed by his power. Also Salome loves to worship Jesus in public and to lift the name of Jesus in the darkest places.
