»Go into all the world ...« With Jesus' Command in their luggage, lots of expectaiton and hearts full of love for God and people, a team of 15 from FCJG Lüdenscheid came to Austin. What a family gathering. Young and youngsters came with big suitcases and zest for action eager to find out what would happen. It was such a powerful time we had - for the Lüdenscheiders who supported us so wonderfully on our property by doing practical work, with worship and during our outreaches. They went everywhere with us. And last, they were a blessing to our HfaN team. It's always very special when »family« comes ... This team was ready for anything ... so great!

Capitol and University of Texas

Thursday, October 12, 2017 – The Capitol of Austin is the place where decisions are made; it affects not only Texas but influences and is a model for all America and even the world. On Wednesday, we went to pray and worship at the park surrounding it because we believe that our prayers and worship are a necessary tool to change cities and nations into the plans and good will of God for its citizens. As we lifted up the name of Jesus over this place, God gave us impressions, i.e. that worship topples down idols and places God on the throne that only He deserves. We felt that God wants to install regular worship at this place, and it would also come from within its walls. Later we ended up in an intensive time of intercession. God gave us a picture that He wants to bless the Capitol with an outpouring of oil and fire (both being symbols of the Holy Spirit and His presence) - oil to heal and restore and fire to cleanse and lead into repentance.

Later we went to the University of Austin (UT) to pray. There are 80,000 youth studying here from every nation of the world and we felt the Father's love for them. He wants to reveal His wisdom, His plans and His ways for their lives and we felt, that the University will be a place where young people will get to know Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. God will respond to their hunger and search for the meaning of life.

6th Steet

Friday, October 13, 2017 – The whole outreach team was looking forward to the evening on 6th Street in downtown Austin. We had all heard stories about the famous party street and were excited to see what the Holy Spirit would do. We didn't have to wait long. As we started to worship in tongues, we were quickly into deep, glorious worship. As God's presence came down, the heavens opened up and we were carried on wave after wave of His love and holiness. Passers-by, on foot and in cars, couldn't help but stop and ask what was going on. Their minds could not grasp what their spirits were reacting to. Some Christians stopped and inquired as well; as they had not experienced such a thing in a public place before. We had good talks and weird encounters, too. Strange people also showed up to try to create distraction ... but »when the Light comes, the darkness has to flee« or be silent ... and they were. We are claiming this land for Jesus; and »step by step we're moving forward«!

Revival Night

Saturday, October 14, 2017 – God loves it when Christiand from diffrent churches come together with a single goal: to worship Jesus in the Spirit and in truth! This is exactly what happened at the Revival Night. Fifty people - Americans, Germans, Swiss, Austrian, Indian, Finnish and Filipino gathered in the Lifehouse with great hunger to encounter God during worship! Some of them never experienced worshipping in tounges and were later baptized in the Holy Spirit for the first time. The presence of God spread throughout the whole room. Some people were kneeling, others lifted up their hands and again others experienced the Holy Spirit filling their lives afresh. Our outreach team could serve them with prophetic words which really ministered to them. Some responded to Merisha's altar call for a life totally surrendered to Jesus, to follow Him without compromise and recieved prayer. This should happen more often ... this paves a path for revival to come!

San Marcos Community Church

Monday, October 16, 2017 – What a privilege to have been invited to the Mission Prayer evening of the San Marcos Community Church. Not only were we invited to share testimonies but to ›take‹ the whole evening. It was obvious that a very good relationship had developed, for them to entrust the entire evening to us. As Petra opened the evening with worshipping in tongues, it created a spiritual room for hearts to open wide for the Holy Spirit to move. There was a hush in the atmosphere as we shared about our international fellowship and personal testimonies. Everyone realized that the prophetic impressions we received individually for the church were all in the same direction: The fire of the Holy Spirit for the nations! One lady said she saw angels on the stage with us! As we spread out around the church to pray, many came for prayer or a prophetic word ... some even going from one to the other! Normally they would end the night after an hour, but this time many lingered, hungry for a touch, refreshing, a confirmation, or direction from God! We all left that place blessed, filled and encouraged - flying high with our beloved Holy Spirit and wanting more!

... or: How does faith grow? As they found out that the place where they had planned summer camp was full of bed bugs the youth group of the San Marcos Community Church, didn´t know what to do. What first looked like a huge disappointment turned out to be a fun, loud, crazy adventure full of blessings and unforgettable experiences!
For two days the 16 teenagers and the staff members stayed on our property and helped us with painting our house and other practical work.

Bettwanzen 03

During the working time we had some deep conversations with our special guests and one of them told us that while painting he felt the presence of God stronger than he had in a long time!
Rachel, who already took part in so many youth camps, said: »Camp helped me see my relationship with Jesus in a different way than I've ever experienced. I began to see Jesus as my best friend.«

It's so simple

By simply living together, worshipping Jesus and reading their Bibles many of them were touched, encouraged and encountered God in a deeper way.
This is how we want to live, our vision and purpose on this place: sharing life with one another, cultivating a lifestyle of love, worship, prayer and discipleship, where people meet God in the everyday's life, just like the first Christians did.

Faith in action

Together we learned how to train our faith and pray for the sick. For example on the first evening, during the devotional time, one of the guys had a really bad headache. We all prayed for him but nothing really happened and soon after that we started worshipping Jesus. While we were singing someone had the impression to pray for that guy again, he did and the headache was gone instantly! You should have seen the look on his face! He was in such awe that God would just suddenly and completely heal him. His faith became real that night. THANK YOU, JESUS!

This is what the youth pastor said ...

»We are so appreciative of the Help for All Nations property and ministry. There is such a peace on that land. As soon as our students walked on the property, they felt loved and full of joy. Your ministry team was so accommodating, joyful and anointed for the ministry. Our students learned valuable teachings that they will take with them forever. During our camp, we had at least eight miracle healings! I cannot thank you enough for your faithfulness and the work you do at HELP for all Nations! We look forward to partnering with you more in the future.«

The youth group - the camp - and this is the video ... click here and find out more!
We had an outing as team and went to the movies to fellowship and watch a great film – well, things you do when going to the movies. However, we all know that Jesus is with us always and anywhere, and that he sees people whom he loves, no matter where we are – even if it is the movies. After the show, we talked to individuals and made great experiences.

Going to the movies with God

There was one particular man for whom we had a distinct prophetic word which went right into his heart. He opened up and we were able to share from our lives with Jesus and to pray for him in the end.
There was yet another man who had a broken wrist after a car accident. After healing prayer his pain was completely gone! We met a girl who was walking on crutches. When we prayed for her, she felt something going through her foot, which was a lot better afterwards! A divine revelation – more capturing than any drama!

One touch of God - more moving than any love story

God wants to make history with us, with YOU, and he has the best ideas for the most fancy script. He is seeking for those who war willing to demonstrate his love and to pass on the Good News. He has called us to be light and bring hope wherever we go. If that’s our lifestyle, every day will get more exciting than any action movie – try it!
End of August 2017. The news is filled with news about the situation in Texas. Hurricane Harvey dashed at high speed towards Texas’ cost. Within minutes there was destruction all around. The rain and masses of water swept along anything that was in the way – houses, cars, people. It was not only small villages that were hit, but even big cities. Houston – a city approx. three hours by car from our base in Austin – is flooded. Over half a million of people lost everything, they are faced with ruin. Tragically, some even lost their lives ...
The government says that Harvey has been one of the worst natural disaster that hit the USA in and it might probably become one of the most expensive.

Harvey 04

... but God’s plans are greater

»In and through this situation I know and believe that God has good plans for Texas«, says Merisha Janke (leader of HfaN). Yes, the present situation is tragic, but despite this tragedy it is an opportunity at the same time to share the Good News of Jesus with people who are hopeless, injured and desperate, to pray for them and actively demonstrate the love of God to them. In all hopelessness, Jesus is still the rock on which we firmly stand, and we know: our Redeemer lives and he is mighty to save! He wants to draw all people unto himself - and even more right now! We are so grateful that as team we are here and able to not only pray, but also to practically help ... and you can join us in this approach. Please watch this video and we’ll tell you how:

Texas needs help

Over half a million of people lost their homes; hundreds of thousands are left with what they wear on their bodies. The city of Austin has decided to welcome evacuees from the areas of calamity and grant them first aid. Churches all over Texas are packing and distributing »Survivor Kits« containing basic provision: towels, hygiene items, tooth brushes, etc. One »Survivor Kit« costs approx. US$ 38 – that’s what it takes right now to help one person. We are packing such »Survivor Kits« and include encouragement and prayer that each may be a blessing to its recipient. Furthermore, we personally know people and organizations who are going into these areas of calamity, and we want to support them financially. Thank you very much for helping us so we can help people in need. We are so grateful for everything that you are giving towards us, for all support!

For the past year we have worked a lot to maintain our property – bit by bit. With several things that need to be done we have come to the limit of our practical knowledge and options ...

Pure blessing

Just recently we had all the money ready to buy a new floor for the Life House, however, the question was: Who is going to lay it? Help was on the way by a team from Lindale, a city in East Texas. Four strong and technically gifted men came over the weekend to lay the floor. They did such a great job and blessed us by this! However, they did not only have hands of gold but also hearts of gold.

Reflecting God's love

In the mornings they came for breakfast with radiant faces, encouraged everyone they encountered and beamed with life, joy and sereneness. Besides words of encouragement, they were ready to also bless us in very practical ways. One of the men spontaneously drove to the hardware store and bought a grill that we desired to buy for a long time. They were true mirrors of God’s Father heart, and the weekend we spent with them was so encouraging. This is our God – we ask for help to lay the floor, and he provides encouragement on all levels. When we make ourselves available to him, he does not only us our hands but also our hearts to bless others. Hands, hearts and our whole being made of gold.
... crowded streets, deafening music, hundreds of bands hoping to be spotted by any producer, hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world seeking meaning in life, a 14-day-event of extremes. In March during the »South by Southwest Music Festival« - America’s biggest music and movie festival - Austin was in a state of emergency. What a great chance to take the Gospel where it belongs: to the streets, right where the people are. We were an international mix of people from FCJG's community in Lüdenscheid and leaders from our HELP bases (Vienna, Thailand, Mongolia, the Philippines), and together we went to the streets - in all simplicity but filled with faith and boldness. Once we get moving, wonderful things are happening.

Grace

Grace is a young girl that volunteered at SXSW. She didn’t know Jesus at all. When we started to talk to her, she opened her heart. We explained the meaning of her name and shared our testimonies. She was all alert and listened carefully. Someone had a word of knowledge which fitted her situation. When we asked if she wanted to get to know Jesus, she answered, »YES!« She prayed and for the very first time gave her heart and life to Jesus. What a miracle. Thank you, Jesus!

The Devil’s Dancefloor

»It all felt like stepping on the devil’s dancefloor. However, it’s so powerful to be light in such places, to worship Jesus, to declare the power of God, and to take a whole city by the Spirit. The darkness is massive, but the light is exceeding more powerful. Every day, people were drawn by the presence of God and experienced the Holy Spirit in different ways. Some got healed, others were delivered. Some gave their lives to Jesus. It was awesome.« (Thomas, Germany)

Eyes fixed on Jesus

»It was mind-blowing to experience God using me, especially in worship. Despite the things that tried to draw my attention and intimidate me, I learnt to fix my eyes on Jesus and on Jesus alone and to expect him to speak to me. Throughout this outreach I sensed that he was using me so powerfully in the area worship – it was so cool.« (Anna, Germany)

»Though things were wild and tough, I often sensed the sweet presence of Gof and could literally see an open heaven over Austin.« (Trujit, Thailand)

An Army of Worshippers

»Austin is desperate for an army of worshippers and evangelists who go to the streets, pray for the sick and bless people. This city is at the fringe to a mighty breakthrough, a revival. Now is the time to invest. God wants to do mighty things in Texas! Merisha and her team are radical lovers of Jesus who live to see this vision fulfilled, therefore it’s just right to support this ministry, no matter the effort. I was so encouraged and strengthened by this outreach and I am definitely coming back. This was only the beginning.« (Tom, Mongolia)

Yes, we believe and are looking forward to the mighty things God is going to do in Austin. Perhaps you are going to be part of it, too!
Howdy! Our three-week Texas Revival Tour 2016 is over. Walter Heidenreich and Merisha Janke travelled Texas, visited old friends and made a number new, the spoke in services and meetings and one thing was unique: God powerfully moved in all these meetings. Revival in Texas and Germany was constantly on the agenda.

Three weeks Texas

Looking back on the three weeks of Walter's and my revival tour in Texas fill me with gratefulness and joy. Everywhere we went, we encountered hearts that were ready, open doors and primed paths. It was so awesome to find out how deep the revival roots in Texas have grown and to acknowledge that God is igniting a new revival fire. On this tour, we saw a new spiritual hunger arise in so many, some received the Holy Spirit for the very first time, got baptized and said YES to Jesus Great Commandment. As you will read further down in Walter's report, there were approx. 100 people at our Night of Vision on the HELP for all Nations property. We spent a time to behold in the presence of God. When we shared why we have come to Austin as missionaries and what our hearts are burning for, some were choked up.

The simple Gospel

We want to reach Austin with the simple Gospel – the love and power of God. We want to see a young generation laying down their lives for Jesus alone. It would be so awesome if you came on board of our team! We want to invite you to take that what God is doing here on your heart and to live for a while with us, to pray for us, to donate towards our ministries. Only if we stand together, God's vision for Austin will come alive!
Merisha Janke

Taking first steps in Austin

When in 1996 I set foot for the first time on the grounds of the University of Texas to speak to a bunch of students, I didn't dare to dream that we might ever send missionaries to the USA. However, the Holy Spirit fell in power on those students. Walking the campus after his powerful experience, I suddenly got confronted with a disturbing reality on the street outside the campus: There were hundreds of young people living in the streets bearing life without any hope or perspective. Within minutes, I had two very contradictive scenes in front of me – both in the same town at the same time. Through this and further encounters God commissioned us to send missionaries to Austin, TX.

William Chan

The first team consisted of two Swiss married couples and one German. They went to Austin to serve the many broken, young people on the Drag (a street in Austin close to the University) and at the Rainbow Festivals. However, a couple of years later, a friend provided us with a wonderful property which already had a few houses. He got in touch with our team during the relief works on the occasion of hurricane Kathrina. The love and dedication he saw in those three couples made that much an impact on him that he wanted to support the ministries of HELP for all Nations. The team moved to the property, continued to do outreaches and opened their doors wide to anybody who wanted to come. At the same time, however, the ministry developed that much that it became time for expansion and a generational handover.

Night of Vision

For six months, Merisha Janke and team have been continuing the ministry of HELP for all Nations. Within now time relationships to churches, leaders and pastors in Texas developed. It is a joy to see the body of Christ getting closer together – more than ever before. I spent three weeks with our present team in Austin and can testify one thing for sure, that there is a new time for Texas and the ministries of HELP for all Nations. Merisha and I literally went on a revival tour and ministered to many churches and groups: in the San Antonio area, Houston, San Marcos. Lindale and Austin, of course. No matter where we went, everywhere the Holy Spirit moved in power. One highlight was die Night of Vision on the HELP for all Nations property to which some 100 leaders, pastors and staff of churches from the Austin area gathered. We spent hours sharing how God called us to Austin and the vision we have. This Night of Vision was impacted by powerful unity in the Spirit and the wonderful presence of God.

Revival

Another highlight was the live interview at The Bridge – a local Christian radio station in Austin. A fantastic programme, great questions, an excellent team and a mutual vision: Revival! Everywhere we went revival was always on the agenda – revival in Texas and in Germany. Revival is our heartbeat, we are praying for it, we are worshiping Jesus over it and we want to unconditionally and without compromise be available to the Holy Spirit for what he wants to do in Texas.

The Bridge Studio

If you want to help us to establish this revival base, you are most welcome to help us in Austin. I would like to thank all the churches, pastors, ministries and people who welcomed us on our revival tour. Thank you, Merisha, for doing such a good job in preparing this tour and the great time with you. The Holy Spirit is making new revival history in Texas.

Photos

Walking alongside Jesus and submitting everything to him is not a one-time experience. It’s a life-long process to get to know him, his grace and love in a deeper and more intimate way. There are moments when God challenges us to take distinct steps, and this could be anywhere. Rico a young man from our community in Germany, spent three months with us in Austin and experienced the following:

Simple Obedience 04

You are my son

»Before I left for the US, God spoke to me about getting baptized again. Actually I got baptized when I was 15, however, I had felt compelled to do it again. Well, you know what it is like ... I forgot about it. When arriving in Texas, God made me to face this issue again and he challenged me to grapple with the baptism. It was the first service I attended in Texas, and it was all about this one topic – baptism. I sensed that it was about time to take this step once more and said YES to God. I wanted to lay down my whole life and my heart before him. I was so desperate for Jesus. So I went into the baptism pool. Shortly after the baptism – I was still standing in the water with my eyes closed – I heard God say: »You are my son, whom I love and whom I have pleasure in!« I received those words and then a good friend who stood at my side prayed these exact words over me, too, thus confirming what God said. I sensed God’s presence and mercy rest upon me in such a strong and mighty way. Thank you, Jesus!«

Pride

God gives us these moments in which he knocks at our heart’s door and challenges us to give everything unto him. Even though it might cost us all and often times clashed with our pride, simple obedience will take us beyond our human limits and draw us deeper into God’s presence. And it’s there that he is waiting with arms wide open to welcome us as his sons and daughters. Isn’t this better and so much more fulfilling than holding on to our own ideas and pride?
