Five Germans in Omsk
In the middle of February five visitors from Germany came to us for a week to get to know us and our ministry. They didn't only bring us greetings and presents, but also the refreshing work of the Holy Spirit. One morning somebody had the feeling we should sing a German song together. And thus the whole Russian reha joined with all guests from Germany started to dance through the entire room in a polonaise...

I always loved sport and was very successful in sailing. Therefore I wanted start an apprenticeship as a P.E. teacher, I was seventeen years old. But my dad said as a police man I would earn more money. Whether one likes it or not, I had to go to the police school. Only then I started to smoke and soon after the first joints followed. After that somebody offered me heroin and it did not take long that I needed the stuff regularly.

Our last weeks and months in Omsk were filled with 'giving over' the responsibilities to our staff, gradually. Since then they are leading the ministry at the face, and certain questions or decisions are spoken over either on the phone or by Skype.
