Potter's House
We live as a team in the Potter's House and we want it to be an open home of mercy for the poor. Usually we go on outreach to the railway station where we always meet street kids, beggars, addicts and people who want to know the God who loves them more. We also visit families in the small slum colonies here and give them counselling and try to help as we can.
If we meet anybody who doesn't have a place to go, we take him in for the night and provide food and shelter because we want him to experience God's love.
We call it Potter's House because God is the Potter and He can mold something beautiful out of our broken lives. (Isaiah 64,7)
In our lift-a-life project (Psalm 113,7) we help kids from rural areas and the slums to get a school education. Many of them are orphans or their parents can't afford sending them to school and we want them to have a better future.
At the moment we are helping 13 kids and we are looking for regular sponsors.
Practical discipleship
Besides organising conferences and seminars we take young people along with us on our outreaches. Like Jesus taught His disciples -learning by doing- we want to show them how to be a witness and how to live with God in their every day activities.
