The Beginning

"Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward the slaughter." (Proverbs 24:11)

With this desire we came to Bangkok in 1993, in order to establish a rehabilitation center for drug addicts We studied the language, settled into the culture and developed regular contacts to the drug scene.

In 1997 we were able to accept the first drug addicts into our center. Almost 100 drug dependents have been to our rehab center for long and short term over the past years. All of them have heard the gospel, many converted and several are living a drug free life today. Like the time of the 'Jesus People Movement', we want to see a move of God among the 3 million drug addicts.

We want to see many Thais set free to go to the schools and into the youth prisons to hold 'the ones staggering to the slaughter' back themselves. We want to equip Thais so that one day, they may be able to take responsibility for this and/or other ministries among the poor and needy of this nation.
