City Mission - Father' s House
City Mission - Father' s House is a branch of HELP International Philippines emphasizing evangelism, homes for neglected and orphaned children and teenagers, help for mothers and streetgirls in need, services and school sponsorships. We are living together as a German-Philippino community in Manila and are recognized by the government for our work and ministry.

Changed life
Hello, my name is Melanie. When I was little, I had to sell sampaguita (flowers) under a bridge. My family was poor and so we as children had to work hard to help my family. I had many problems.

My father was a drunk and got aggressive. Out of fear of him I often slept on the streets. One day I got to know the staff of HELP International. They were singing songs about God and shared about the love of Jesus under the bridge where I worked. They prayed for me every time and I experienced that there is a God who knows me. I found a new home in the Father' s House and was able to go to school regularly. Today I am already in my third year college as a nurse. This is a dream coming true that I've never imagined possible. Though it' s not easy, I experience how God is helping me always. Even my family situation changed. My father stopped drinking and my whole family is experiencing how good God is. I believe now in his love and in his good plans for my life.
